A human rights source reported that Houthi militants committed 11 sniper and bombing operations targeting civilians in Taiz Governorate, southwest of Yemen, during this April 2024.
A member of the National Committee to Investigate Allegations of Human Rights Violations, Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari, said on Sunday that in the month of April 2024, 11 incidents of bombing, sniping, and targeting of civilians were monitored by the Houthi group in a number of districts of Taiz Governorate.

Al-Maqtari indicated that all sniping and bombing operations resulted in civilian casualties, including dead and wounded, and caused massive damage to private property.
She continued as if the latest of these violations occurred yesterday, in reference to the crime of killing five women in a drone strike by the Houthi group after targeting a water well in the Maqbana District in Taiz Governorate in the southwest of the country.
