Lenderking calls on Iran to stop smuggling weapons to the Houthi militia

The American envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, held the terrorist Houthi militia responsible for obstructing peace efforts in Yemen, warning of a lack of funding for humanitarian operations due to the lack of possibility of a peace process in the country.
Lenderking, in a press interview, called on Iran to stop fueling the war and stop smuggling weapons to Yemen, adding that Washington will stop strikes on the Houthi militia when the latter stops attacking ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
He stated that the United States is trying hard to mobilize and maintain an international effort to maintain focus on the peace process in Yemen and on the very critical humanitarian situation, pointing out that the existence of a real possibility for the peace process will push donors to respond to the lack of funding for humanitarian operations in the country.< /p>
