The Office of Education in Aden Governorate announced the postponement of the final internal transfer exams for the 2023-2024 academic year for public, private and private basic and secondary education schools, due to the extreme heat wave that the governorate is suffering from during this period.

The office stated in a circular issued by it that the tests will begin on Sunday, May 12, 2024, instead of the previously scheduled date of May 19, 2024.

The office explained that the decision to advance the exam date came in consideration of the conditions of students and teachers in light of the intense heat wave, and to ensure that the exam process proceeds in a comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

The office called on all schools in Aden Governorate to adhere to the new testing schedule, which will be released later.

The office also stressed the need to provide all necessary facilities to students and teachers during the examination period, to ensure that they go smoothly and without any obstacles.
