Lieutenant General Abdullah Salem Al-Nakhai, former Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Army, said today, Thursday, that the Houthi group is heading to impose a coming war.
Al-Nakhai wrote on his Facebook page: “Because the Houthi group does not live, grow, or prosper except in the shadow of wars, it is currently facing popular discontent because of its destructive policy of the Republic of Yemen, plundering the rights of the people, and depriving them of the most basic rights. It is heading towards imposing a coming war that will not stop.” Not only was it directed by the Yemeni army, the national resistance, and the popular resistance, but also the people’s discontent with the Houthis will also join this war after knowing its reality and its destructive tendencies.”
Al-Nakhai added: “The Houthi group realizes that its end is near, so it seeks to impose a new war in order to prolong its life, but the Yemeni people will not allow it to do that, and will stand against it with all strength and determination.”
Al-Nakhai’s statements are a warning of the escalation of the conflict in Yemen, and he emphasizes that the Houthis are facing an internal crisis that is pushing them to impose a new war.
