Satellites reveal the Houthi militia's construction of underground combat facilities

Satellite images revealed that the Houthi terrorist militia, “Iran’s proxies,” has built underground combat facilities, enabling them to enhance their protection in the event of a future conflict.
The images reviewed by the International Institute for Strategic Studies showed that the Houthi militia is creating and digging new and large underground military facilities, which will enable it to enhance the protection of its fighters in the event of a future conflict.
The institute said that while the Houthis used simple caves and tunnels in their early days as an armed group, they have recently sought to create much larger facilities, renovating the Yemeni army’s pre-war tunnel systems and building entirely new underground facilities.
>According to the analysis, the construction efforts show that even before the military confrontation with the United States and allied forces, the Houthis were preparing and strengthening themselves in the event of a future conflict.
Some of the first evidence showed that the Houthi militia was using underground facilities in 2004, during the beginning of the so-called Saada wars against the Yemeni government.
