Al-Jawf Governorate, northeastern Yemen, witnesses many crimes and violations on a daily basis.

Among these heinous crimes that recently shook the governorate was a heinous murder committed by a member of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

In the details of the crime, a member of the Houthi militia slaughtered his wife in a gruesome manner using a sharp instrument, which led to her death. After the victim's family learned of the incident, they took revenge on the perpetrator and killed him, leaving behind 5 orphaned children.

Sources indicate that this horrific crime is the result of sectarian attacks and incitement to violence to which Houthi militia members are exposed during their summer courses, in addition to their abuse of narcotic substances.
