Aden Governorate Undersecretary for Youth Affairs, Abdul Raouf Zain Al-Saqqaf, praised the success of the “Youth Connection” activity initiative implemented by “My Platform 30”, which aims to support young people and enhance their capabilities by exploring opportunities and implementing small projects.

This came during Agent Al-Saqqaf’s participation in the introductory exhibition for the projects that participated in the “Youth Connection” initiative, where the six youth teams presented ideas for small, viable and sustainable projects, after passing through three successive stages.

Al-Saqqaf affirmed the support of the local authorities in Aden Governorate, represented by His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of the Capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, for youth projects and their work on developing their professional and technical capabilities, pointing out the importance of these initiatives in enhancing the economic empowerment of youth.

Al-Saqqaf added that supporting and encouraging these activities and initiatives comes within the strategy of the National Youth Program, which is sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, noting that these efforts promote sustainable development and provide opportunities for young people to contribute to the development of their societies.

For his part, the head of the My Platform 30 Foundation, Anis Al-Barq, confirmed that the event is a presentation of six ideas for viable and sustainable small projects, presented by youth teams after going through three successive stages, indicating that, after voting from the participating teams and stakeholders, funding will be made. Winning initiatives and moving to the implementation phase, within the project objectives

 At the end of the event, the projects of the two winning teams, “Shaghaf” from Mansoura, Aden, and “Inspiring Youth” from Al Dhalea, were funded, so they could move to the implementation stage and realize their dreams of developing their communities.
