Destroying a ton of smuggled medicine in Taiz

Today, Tuesday, the branch of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies in Taiz Governorate destroyed a ton of smuggled medicines that were unusable.
The Director General of the Authority’s branch, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sufi, said, “The recovered smuggled medicines that were looted during the storming of the Authority’s branch early last month were destroyed.” Noting that a sample of all the medicines was kept as evidence of their unofficial status, praising the efforts of the agencies. The security and military forces worked to bring her back, and are still working to pursue the perpetrators.
Al-Sufi indicated that the authority’s branch took the initiative to form a committee consisting of the Industry and Trade Office, the Environmental Health Office, the Customs Office, and the military and security authorities, to quickly destroy the medicines... pointing out the danger of smuggled medicines... calling on all owners of pharmaceutical facilities in general. It is divided into not dealing with smuggled medicines, or medicines of unknown origin.
