The Anti-Narcotics Department in the Security Belt and the Aden Capital Belt organize a workshop on perfecting seizure reports.
The General Department of Narcotics Control in the Security Belt Forces and the Aden Capital Belt Forces organized, today, a workshop entitled “How to Perfect Seizure Reports.”
At the beginning of the workshop, Lieutenant Colonel Mayas Haidara, Director of the General Administration for Narcotics Control, provided a detailed explanation on how to write seizure reports accurately and correctly, stressing the importance of these reports in the success of cases and ensuring their legal conduct.
Lieutenant Colonel Mayas spoke about the basic elements of the arrest report, including the date, time, and place of the arrest, as well as a description of the accused and the seized items, details of the incident, and witness testimony.
He also pointed out that the reasons that lead to the success of the case are writing the arrest report accurately and correctly, as this contributes to the success of the case and the ease of its progress in the legal procedures, noting that the reasons that lead to the weakness of the case are the inaccuracy and completeness of the information in the arrest report. There are legal loopholes in writing the report, and the lack of witnesses to the incident.
While Lieutenant Colonel Mayas discussed how to avoid errors in writing the arrest report, in order to contribute to ensuring that the case proceeds legally and properly.
At the end of his speech, Lieutenant Colonel Mayas Haidara thanked the Security Belt forces in Aden for the efforts made in combating drugs, stressing the importance of cooperation between the various security agencies to ensure security and stability in Aden.
The workshop was attended by Colonel Khaled Al-Fada, Head of Aden Belt Operations, Brigadier Fadl Al-Aqel, Director of Legal Affairs, and a number of officers from the security belt sectors in Aden.
