The Governor of Hadhramaut discusses with the Ambassador of the Republic of Somalia strengthening relations and adopting mechanisms to develop trade exchange

The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, discussed today in Mukalla, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to our country, Abdullah Hashi Shourieh, aspects of cooperation and ways to enhance them in various sectors.
The meeting discussed the mechanism for enhancing trade exchange, especially in the fish and livestock sectors.
The meeting, which was attended by those concerned with security, passports, the Arabian Sea Fisheries Authority, the General Authority for Maritime Affairs, Social Affairs, Labor and Legal Affairs, touched on the legal aspects of coordination with regard to trade exchange in various sectors, especially the fish and animal sectors, and facilitating the entry of citizens between the two countries through legal means. And coordination to enhance security and combat crime and piracy.
The Governor of Hadhramaut expressed his happiness at the visit of His Excellency the Somali Ambassador to Hadhramaut for the second time, stressing the eternity of the bilateral relationship between the two brotherly countries, the specificity of the relationship with Hadhramaut Governorate, the importance of strengthening it in various fields, and the keenness to adopt more facilities for grants to enhance cooperation and trade exchange, pointing out The facilities and distinguished treatment enjoyed by the Somali citizen in Hadramaut, who is treated like a Yemeni citizen based on the bonds of brotherhood, the bonds of Islam, and the distinguished relations between the two countries.
His Excellency the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to our country stressed the peculiarity of the relationship between the two countries, in particular with Hadhramaut Governorate, and the importance of strengthening it, praising the facilities granted by the local authority in Hadhramaut to the members of the Somali community, and the keenness of the Somali government to strengthen and develop relations.
