A fire destroys two homes in a camp for displaced people in Shabwa Governorate

During the past few hours, a fire broke out in a camp for the displaced in Shabwa Governorate, east of Yemen.
The Displaced Persons Camps Administration Unit said that a large fire broke out in the “Al-Wasiti” camp for the displaced in the Bayhan District, west of Shabwa Governorate.
The unit confirmed that the fire was caused by Children's fireworks caused fireworks inside the camp and expanded and consumed two homes with all their contents.
She indicated that about 13 individuals were left in the open.
This comes days after a fire in a camp for displaced people in Ma'rib Governorate, northeastern Yemen.
