Postponing the trial of the former security belt commander in Sheikh Othman

The Khor Maksar Court of First Instance decided to postpone consideration of the case of the former commander of the Security Belt Forces, Sheikh Othman Alaa Al-Mashriqi, until May 26, 2024.
The court approved the postponement due to the failure to bring prisoners from Mansoura Central Prison in Aden.
The court held several previous sessions where Al-Mashriqi was tried on charges of killing a citizen named Amir Mihdhar Al-Kaldi.
The reasons for not bringing the defendants from Mansoura Central Prison are not known.
