Today, the General Department of Narcotics Control in the Security Belt Forces arrested a woman and two young men in possession of several strips of narcotic pills, on the coast of Abyan in the Khor Maksar District in the capital, Aden.

The Director of the General Department of Narcotics Control, Lieutenant Colonel Mayas Haidara, said: “Three defendants were arrested on the coast of Abyan in the Khor Maksar District, and they were on a Daewoo bus. They were in an incorrect condition and had several tapes of narcotic pills. And they were addicted to it.”

He added: “The three defendants, namely (M, Kh, S), (S, N, A), and the accused (F, H, A), 28 years old, were arrested in possession of Pregabalin pills, which are one of the most dangerous types.” Narcotic pills,” noting that: “Initial legal measures were taken, an arrest report was drawn up with the accused, and they were placed in prison until all procedures were completed and the file was handed over to the competent prosecution.”

Lieutenant Colonel Mayas Haidara called on parents to monitor their daughters and sons, in order not to be drawn into suspicions and dangers, considering that: “The role of the family has a major role in reducing such crimes.”
