A woman in Taiz Governorate committed suicide after returning to her husband’s house, amid family disputes.

One family in the “Amqan Quds” area of ​​Al-Silw District said that her daughter-in-law committed suicide, five days after she returned to the husband’s family home.

The sources explained, according to what the family reported, that the woman recently returned after staying at her family’s home for about a full year, following family disputes between her and her husband’s family.

According to the sources, the wife was subjected to violence and beatings from the husband’s female relatives several times before she left the house, in protest.
