The Houthi group arrested the former director of the Dhamar Control Center at the Standards and Metrology Authority, “Mohammed Al-Maliki,” because he submitted a report about the corruption of the Minister of Industry and Trade in the Houthi government.

A member of the Sanaa House of Representatives, Ahmed Saif Hashid Hashem, said through a post on his account on the “X” platform, “The expert professor, Muhammad Al-Maliki, is now detained by the Military Police Intelligence under the direction of......!!!”.

Hashid added, “Expert Muhammad al-Maliki attended one of the sessions of the parliamentary committee charged with investigating the facts about the corruption of the Minister of Industry and Trade, and he wanted to provide us with a copy of the results of his report on corruption in the Ministry’s Standards and Specifications Authority. The Anti-Corruption Authority has long delayed, and the matter ended with the arrest of the author of the report, expert Muhammad.” Al-Maliki, while the corrupt people are outside the prisons, mulling over it.”

And he added, “It is corruption, gentlemen.”
