Mahra security arrests a gang in possession of 14,000 counterfeit dollars

The security services in the city of Al-Ghaydah announced an arrest, and based on field reports from merchants and money changers received by the Criminal Investigation Department, as well as reports registered with the shipping police about people exchanging foreign currency in denominations of one hundred dollars, it turned out to be counterfeit.
After research and investigation of the perpetrators, their descriptions and whereabouts were determined, and in coordination with the Public Prosecution, (M.A.A.A.), (A.A.S.A.), and (M.J.A.A.) were arrested. and (A.A.A.A.) Their residence was searched and an amount of $14,000 was seized, which turned out to be counterfeit in a recent and accurate manner.
An arrest report was drawn up of the seized items and they were placed in custody with the criminal evidence for examination by the Central Bank, and the four arrested persons were kept under investigation until the legal procedures were completed and referred to the prosecution.
