Local residents in Al-Mahwit Governorate found the body of a murdered and burned citizen in a remote area in Al-Rajm District, east of the governorate. The circumstances are mysterious, as the victim’s body was burned in a brutal manner in an attempt to erase his identity and features. The perpetrators remain unidentified, and the victim himself has not yet been identified.

The people of the region accuse the Houthi gang of involvement in this horrific crime, and demand a fair investigation and holding the perpetrators accountable. They believe that the victim, whose features were disfigured by the burning, may be from outside the region and was thrown after being killed and burned in the remote area between “Al-Hayma” and “Bani Al-Badi” in the east of the governorate.

The people express their dissatisfaction with the neglect of the Houthi security services, as they buried the victim in the same place. Al Mahwit is witnessing a widespread spread of organized crimes, the spread of weapons, a worsening state of societal disintegration, and unprecedented security chaos, amid complete silence and inaction by the Houthi terrorist group.
