UNICEF confirms that more than 4.5 million Yemeni children are without education

The United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF confirmed that more than 4.5 million Yemeni children are out of school.
The organization reported that they are education partners by rehabilitating and building classrooms, providing educational assistance to millions, and working to return others to schools.
The United Nations considered that “investing in education is an investment in the future of generations!”
According to the statistics I provided, 2,916 schools (at least one out of every 4 schools) were destroyed, partially damaged, or were used for non-educational purposes as a result of years of conflict that the country witnessed.
The educational structure also faces further obstacles, represented by the fact that more than two-thirds of teachers - approximately 172,000 male and female teachers - have not received their salaries irregularly since 2016, or they have stopped teaching in search of other income-generating activities.
Schools were forced to close their doors to students due to the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic, during most school days for the academic years between 2019-2021, which led to the disruption of the educational process for about 5.8 million students, including 2.5 million girls.
