4th Hazm Infantry Brigade announces its rebellion against Al-Zubaidi’s decision

The 4th Hazm Infantry Brigade, stationed in the strip separating the governorates of Lahj and Taiz, announced its rebellion against the decision of Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, to change the brigade commander.
This was stated by the Major General’s Moral Guidance Staff, Alaa Sultan, on his Facebook page, where he published a statement clarifying the Major General’s position on the decision.
The statement stated:
- Change is far from the controls and regulations of structuring and mergers.
- Commander Othman Moawadah’s forces were not targeted in this session according to the brigades announced at the Jabal Hadid meeting.
- Trying to convince the brigade commander’s staff, Brigadier General Wafi Al-Ghabs, that the assignment order be secret and for a period of one month is a military violation.
- The restructuring and integration takes place after the formation of the staff committee and the approval of training centers and camps.
- We were surprised by the violation of the staff by changing the commander in only half the session and his forces in the field.
- We committed to implementation despite the transgressions and violations, but the leadership and the designated commander did not establish official committees to officially implement the decision.
- We ask Mr. President to form a military committee and go to the field and raise the facts.
Al-Zubaidi had issued a decision to broadly change the ground infantry forces and announced the settlement of the status of a number of officers.
