Four sister girls died by drowning in a water pool in Ibb, Yemen

Four sister girls died, drowning in a water pool in Ibb Governorate in central Yemen, coinciding with heavy rains that the governorate has been witnessing for weeks.
Local sources reported that four girls died by drowning in the “Baraka” water dam in Wadi Al-Malhama in Al-Sahol district, in Al-Makhader District, north of Ibb Governorate.
The families indicated that the girls, daughters of the citizen Abdul Hamid Al-Ghurbani, went to help their father on his farm, who ordered them to return home before noon yesterday, Saturday, and upon their return, they passed a water dam, and it is likely that one of them fell into the dam, which has no fence or any protection, which... He led them to death by drowning, one after the other.
During the past year, Ibb Governorate witnessed the death and injury of more than 40 people, including women and children, who drowned either due to torrents, dams, water barriers, open pools, or thunderbolts in a number of the governorate’s directorates, according to unofficial statistics.
