A technical team repairs the oil spill problem in the Lamatir area in Rawdat Shabwa

In implementation of the directives and follow-up of the Governor of Shabwa Governorate and Head of the Local Council, Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, to quickly repair the oil spill in the Lamatir area in Al-Rawda District, and take the necessary measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
Brother Saeed Muhammad Al-Marnoum, Director General of the Oil and Minerals Office in the governorate, reported that a technical team affiliated with the Yemen Petroleum Investments Company (YCOM) began yesterday, Sunday, to repair the oil leak that occurred in the crude oil pipeline in the Lamatir area in Al-Rawda District, Shabwa Governorate.
p>The Director General of Oil and Minerals, Shabwa, indicated that the technical team is working to repair the pipeline and ensure that no leaks occur in the oil pumping line transporting between Ayyad and the port of Al-Nashima, located on the Arabian Sea.
Al-Marnum expressed his appreciation for the interest and follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Al-Shamasi, and the Governor of the Governorate, Awad bin Al-Wazir, and the great interest they paid towards the oil sector and overcoming any difficulties it faces.
