The death sentence was implemented in implementation of the ruling of the Upper Egypt Court of First Instance issued on 6/29/2020 AD, which ruled that the accused was convicted and punished with death by firing squad, upheld by the Supreme Court of the Republic on 11/6/2023 AD, and after the approval of the Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, on 2/13/2024 AD.

After completing these procedures, “the Public Prosecutor of the Republic directed that the implementation procedures be completed, and after the ruling was read by the Deputy Prosecutor of Upper Egypt, Judge Sameh Belaid Al-Zuka,” the implementation took place this Monday morning in the courtyard of the central prison in the city of Ataq, in the presence of the Chief Prosecutor of the Shabwa Governorate Appeals Prosecution, Judge Dr. Saleh. Ahmed Al-Madhaji, the Deputy Director General of Shabwa Governorate Police, Brigadier General Ahmed Nasser Al-Ahwal, the Deputy Prosecutor of Investigation and Prisons, Judge Ali Al-Qarbou, the Director of the Central Prison Correctional Facility, a number of police officers, and blood guardians.

It is noteworthy that this is the sixth operation since the beginning of this year.
