The Salah al-Din area in the capital, Aden, witnessed a horrific murder this evening, as a person suffering from mental illness killed his neighbor with a machine gun.

According to local sources, both the accused, “Ali Naji,” and the victim, “Abdullah Al-Hakami,” live in the same building in the Salah al-Din area.

 Information indicates that the crime occurred following arguments and quarrels between the accused and the victim, which ended with the accused using a machine gun to kill his neighbor.

Sources also say that the accused suffers from psychological illnesses, which may be the motive behind him committing this heinous crime. He refused to surrender himself to the police, and no information was available about his arrest at the moment of writing the news.
