Customs confiscates 5 million prohibited medicine capsules and military daggers in Aden

The Director General of the Free Zone Customs, Mr. Mohsen Qahtan, confirmed in a press statement: The Customs, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak, and in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Salem Saleh Bin Brik, and the Head of the Authority, Mr. Abdul Hakim Radman Al-Qubati, confiscated 4,314,000 ginseng capsules, which are used As physical tonics and raising the level of mental activity, and 876,800 Montalin capsules, which are used to treat joints, bones, gout diseases, etc., in addition to 3,532 military daggers.
Qahtan praised the efforts of the leadership of the Customs Authority in raising customs awareness for employees, which played a major role in many seizures within customs, stressing that such seizures are the result of customs awareness and training that has been taking place for years.
At the end of his statement, he stressed that customs will not tolerate any contraband that affects national security and public health, or violations and non-compliance with import standards, whether in the type of containers for medicines or permits issued by the relevant authorities. Legal measures will be taken accordingly.
