The Vice President of Hadhramaut University, Dr. Hadi Al-Sabban, received this morning, at the university’s headquarters in the city of Mukalla, the General Director of the Office of Economic Studies and Consultations, Real Estate Development and Logistics Services, Dr. Khaled Al-Akbari.
The meeting, which was attended by directors of research centers at the university, discussed; Mechanisms of partnership and coordination between Hadhramaut University and the Office of Studies and the potential for cooperation between the two sides to provide strategic services to the governorate.
In the meeting, the Vice President of the University conveyed the greetings of the President of Hadhramaut University, stressing the importance of establishing partnerships with the private sector to enhance the exchange of experiences and knowledge, and to develop strategies and network them with interested parties to implement purposeful projects.
In turn, the Director General of the Office, Dr. Al-Akbari, expressed his happiness for this meeting, reviewing a summary of the Office’s interests and activities aimed at contributing to solving the accumulated problems through feasibility studies for the government and private sectors, and benefiting from expertise to solve problems in modern and innovative ways.
Dr. Al-Akbari indicated that the partnership comes based on the main and important role played by Hadhramaut University in terms of research services, scientific studies, training, and community services in all fields and specializations, and the interest in developing academic studies, and as an embodiment of the role it plays in providing community services, spreading awareness, and community service. .
The two sides exchanged the need to provide databases and their interconnection, the importance of training and qualification and its methodology and linking it to research centers and social studies, improving the institutional sector, utilizing the university’s capabilities and cadres to come up with projects that serve the governorate, and the possibility of promoting and coordinating the university’s plans and projects.
The partnership aims to benefit from the scientific expertise of Hadhramaut University in various fields related to the office’s activity and what serves the community, and to activate economic and administrative studies in a way that serves institutional development and improve performance through the office, and to work to develop a mechanism for using the university’s halls to serve the community in the fields of Training, qualification, and holding seminars, conferences, scientific workshops, and trade exhibitions.
