While there is a government directive to cancel it, the Taiz Postal Authority refuses to seize one of its branches in the city

An official document revealed a government directive to cancel a directive to the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, which ordered the seizure of one of the branches of the General Postal Authority in Taiz,
The document called on the Minister of the Interior to stop this directive, which would hinder the work of the Postal Authority, which is preparing to restore the postal role by launching an operating system for its branches.
The Postal Authority expressed its refusal to seize the building of its branch in Al-Hasab, Taiz Governorate, and hand it over to the rescue forces, or what are called the road security forces.
In an official memorandum submitted to the Acting Minister of Communications, Dr. Waed Badhib, she revealed directives issued by the Governor of Taiz to transform the Al-Hasab Post Office building into a headquarters for the Rescue Police, noting that these directives were referred to the Taiz Security Director for implementation without notifying the Authority or the Ministry.
The authority said that the actions of the Governor of Taiz constitute a dangerous precedent, and a clear violation of the provisions of the law and regulations, as they target a building within the assets of the authority, which is in the process of launching the system and network to activate and connect postal offices, to provide its postal and financial services to residents,
The Commission asked the Minister to intervene with the Minister of the Interior and the Governor of Taiz to stop the seizure of the post office building.
Observers were surprised by the step that comes in light of full preparations to launch postal services in Taiz, which have been suspended for years due to war and corruption.
They considered such directives to be a legitimization of stopping institutions from restoring their role and activity, and they come as a result of Governor Shamsan’s abject failure to achieve even slight progress in evacuating the only technical and technical institute in the city by the military police, which has been occupying the technical and vocational education buildings for ten years, and with which everything has failed. Efforts to end that occupation.
The governor is facing pressure to evacuate the Al-Saqr Sports Club, which is occupied by the rescue forces. He is trying to get rid of this by legitimizing the occupation of the post office building in Al-Hasab.
