A massive fire broke out in a citizen's house, during his daughter's wedding, causing material losses in Ibb Governorate.

Local sources said that a fire broke out in the house of citizen Yahya Musleh Qasim yesterday evening, Friday, in Al-Mashhad neighborhood next to the “Salim” Mosque in the city of Yarim, northeast of Ibb Governorate.

The sources added that the fire broke out as a result of an electrical short circuit during the wedding of the house owner’s daughter, before the people were able to rescue the women and children.

According to the sources, no human losses were recorded, but the fire destroyed the house extensively and caused material losses.
