An official clarification regarding the flight of a Yemeni plane in the skies of Aden

Today, Saturday, the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology issued a detailed clarification regarding the news circulating on social media sites about the flight of a Yemeni plane in the sky of the capital, Aden.
The authority said that what was published on some websites and social media programs is false information about a technical defect occurring in one of the Yemeni Airlines planes this morning, and that it was unable to land at Aden International Airport as a result of this defect.
It confirmed that this information has nothing to do with the truth, and that the plane was on a training flight without passengers with a permit issued by the Authority, and carried out in accordance with the established systems and procedures.
It called on everyone to ensure accuracy and credibility before publishing any information or rumors of this kind related to civil aviation, which would have serious consequences and consequences affecting the reputation of national airlines as well as the country’s airports, and to obtain information from their official sources.
