Unidentified persons detonated a sound bomb near the office of Aden Governorate.

The local authority office published an important notice regarding the explosion, saying: “The explosion that was heard a short while ago was the result of the explosion of a sound bomb near the Aden Governorate office in Al-Mualla, according to our communication with the operations of the Aden Capital Security Department.”

He added, "Therefore, there is nothing to worry about, as it has become clear that the goal behind this incident is nothing but a miserable attempt to create unrest among people. We reassure everyone that there will be no harm resulting from this incident."

He stressed that the security services have begun tracking and monitoring those involved behind this incident and are in the process of arresting those involved in it, exposing them, and referring them for investigation to bring accountability and punishment for the crime they committed and the disturbance to public peace.”
