Under the generous patronage of the Minister of Public Health and Population, Professor Dr. Qasim Muhammad Bahibah, and Major General Abu Bakr Hussein Salem, Governor of Abyan Governorate, this Monday morning, Dr. Saleh Qasim Muhammad Al-Tharm, Director General of the Office of Health and Population in Abyan, and Nasser Awad Musa Alawi, Director General of Lawdar District, inaugurated the ceremony. Opening of the oxygen factory at Martyr Mahnef Hospital, and with them was Engineer Muhammad Abdullah Hassan, Director of the Engineering Department at the Ministry of Public Health.
Dr. Saleh Al-Tharm stressed the importance of the oxygen station and its preservation, pointing out that it produces (72) cylinders per day, with an amount of (40) liters per cylinder, in addition to supplying the internal departments of the Martyr Mohnaf Hospital, and all hospitals in the central region will benefit from it.
For their part, Engineer Muhammad Abdullah Hussein, Director of the Engineering Department at the Ministry of Health, pointed out the necessity of preserving and caring for this vital station in Abyan Governorate.
It is worth mentioning that the entity funding this project is the Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, under the supervision of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Public Health and Population, led by Dr. Qasim Muhammad Buhaibah.
