The head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Shabwa Governorate, Lahmar Ali Lasoud, yesterday, Monday, made an inspection visit to the Upper Bayhan District, as part of his field visits to the governorate’s directorates.

During his visit, in which he was accompanied by Brigadier General Saleh Ali Bilal, member of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council and Director General of the Qena Commercial Port, Lahmar Ali Lasoud held a meeting with members of the executive body of the local leadership in the district, in the presence of the Director General of Bayhan District, Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Sheikh.

In the meeting, Lahmar Ali Lasoud delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, praising the struggling roles of the people of Bayhan in all stages of the southern national action, noting that the Supreme Directorate is formed with the rest of the directorates. The Chief Executive of Shabwa reviewed a number of activities that the executive body of the governorate’s transitional body is working on, pointing out that the executive bodies in the directorates will witness changes within the structure of the transitional council, calling on everyone to participate effectively in the success of the new structure, and to contribute to the selection of elements possessing the tender, experience, and competencies to make it a success. The Director General of Bayhan District, Muhammad Ahmed Sheikh Al-Fatimi, welcomed the interim CEO of Shabwa and his accompanying delegation, pointing out the importance of strengthening the complementary relationship between the executive body and the local authority, and looking forward to this integration ending in solving many of the concerns and difficulties that it suffers from.
