Security Belt: We transferred (19) defendants in drug trafficking cases to the central prisons in the capital, Aden

The General Department of Narcotics Control of the Security Belt Forces deported (19) defendants in drug trafficking and possession cases to the central prisons in the capital, Aden.
The Director of the General Department of Drug Control in the Security Belt Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Mayas Haidara, said in a statement to the media that: “The Drug Control Department in the Security Belt forces deported nineteen people accused of drug promotion and possession cases to the central prisons in the capital, Aden,” referring to The deportation process came after submitting their files to the competent prosecution offices and completing all investigation procedures, arrest reports, and other required legal procedures.
He added that the deportation process came in accordance with the directives of the competent prosecution, in order to complete the investigations and refer the accused to the courts.
He indicated that during this year, on the date that coincides with World Anti-Drug Day, large quantities of narcotic hashish, estimated at approximately three hundred kilograms, will be destroyed.
At the end of his statement, Colonel Mayas called on all drug dealers and users to stop selling and promoting drugs in our beloved capital, Aden, and other southern governorates, stressing that: “The punishment for any dealer will be harsh and painful for anyone who dares to tamper with publishing Drugs, earning illegal money, and indifference to Sharia, religion, and the law prevent the spread of this dangerous scourge.”
