Concluding the activities of the training program to enhance community safety in Sira District, Aden

Batweel Hall in the Sira District in the capital, Aden, witnessed, this morning, Tuesday, the conclusion of the activities of the training program on methods of dealing with disasters, rescue methods, and first aid, under the generous patronage of the Director General of the Sira District, Dr. Mahmoud Najib bin Jaradi.
The event was distinguished by honoring the program participants, who numbered twenty young people, in appreciation of their efforts and commitment during the training period.
Deputy Director of Aden Security, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, praised the importance of such programs in refining young people’s skills and enhancing their capabilities in vital areas such as dealing with disasters and treating the injured, stressing their role in enhancing community safety.
The course rapporteur, Sister Shifa Bahmish, gave a comprehensive presentation on the community safety team in Sira District, highlighting the most important initiatives that were implemented during the past four years, the most prominent of which is the fire prevention initiative in Crater, which resulted in the provision of equipment. Twenty firefighting sites in the Crater neighborhoods contributed significantly to strengthening firefighting efforts and enhancing public safety.
The Community Safety Enhancement Project, which is implemented by the Political Development Forum in partnership with the German Berghof Foundation with support and funding from the European Union, represents an important step towards building trust between society and security services and enhancing joint cooperation in order to create a safe and stable environment.
The closing ceremony witnessed an important presence of official figures, including the Director General of Sira Directorate, Dr. Mahmoud Najib Bin Jaradi, and a number of social and media figures, who praised the importance of the program and its positive impact on society.
