Execution of the death sentence against a man and a woman in Marib

The Specialized Criminal Prosecution in Ma’rib Governorate, yesterday, Tuesday, carried out the death sentence as retaliation and punishment against a man and a woman convicted of murder.
The Public Prosecution said, on its website, “The death sentence was carried out as retaliation and punishment against the convicts Saber Abu Bakr Abdul Rahman Al-Nur and Fatima Saeed Mabkhout Al-Askari Al-Awadi by firing squad to death for intentionally killing the victim Ahmed Dhifallah Embarak Daman Al-Nasi.”
The death sentence was implemented in implementation of the ruling of the Specialized Criminal Court of First Instance in Ma’rib Governorate, which ruled that they were convicted and punished with retaliation and punishment by firing squad until death, and was upheld by the Specialized Criminal Court of Appeal in Ma’rib Governorate, and upheld by the Supreme Court of the Republic, and approved by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi. And based on the directive of the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa, to implement the ruling.
The death sentence was carried out by firing squad, after attempts to persuade and encourage the blood relatives of the victims to forgive and pardon.
