Political activist: We are lost between unity and separation

The writer and political activist Sarah Abdullah Hassan said that we are lost between unity and separation, because we have not found true unity or separation, despite the passage of 10 years since it was possible to achieve it.
Sarah wrote on the “X” platform: What is painful is that people celebrate the Yemeni Unity Day and many people in the south celebrate the disengagement from unity
Between these two simultaneous celebrations, we did not find a true remaining unity, nor any separation from it (despite the passage of ten years since it was possible to achieve it)!”
Sarah added, "We are now living in a state of neither unity nor separation. We are lost in the south and north in a state of no state and nothingness. It is truly an unknown and painful situation. What are you celebrating?"
Yesterday, Wednesday, Yemen celebrated the anniversary of Unity Day (the 34th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22).
