Thwarting the smuggling of narcotic drugs into a neighboring country

The anti-narcotics police in Al-Mahra Governorate were able to arrest a gang of 11 people who were planning to smuggle prohibited materials and narcotics to one of the neighboring countries.
The Anti-Narcotics Police told the security media that the operation to arrest the drug smuggling cell took place on the outskirts of Al-Ghaydah District, in cooperation with a force from the Establishments Police, in a qualitative operation and after monitoring and follow-up, which resulted in the arrest of all its members.
The Anti-Narcotics Police explained that the seized items contained narcotic substances in addition to a large amount of gasoline, which was sufficient to transport them to one of the neighboring countries.
