113 detainees released from Houthi prisons in Sanaa

The International Committee of the Red Cross announced on Sunday the release of 113 detainees from Houthi prisons in Sanaa.
The International Committee of the Red Cross said, "The city of Sana'a (controlled by the Houthis) witnessed today (Sunday) the unilateral release of 113 detainees."
She added: “The International Committee of the Red Cross supported the release of detainees, at the request of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs (a committee concerned with prisoners affiliated with the Houthis).”
She indicated that “the released detainees were among those whom the International Committee regularly visited and provided assistance to in Sanaa,” without additional details.
The International Committee expressed its readiness “to play the role of a neutral mediator, in order to facilitate the release, transfer and return of detainees to their homelands, as it did in 2020 and 2023, whenever the parties to the Stockholm Agreement agreed to engage in these efforts again.”
