Under the directives of Sheikh Awad Ibn al-Wazir, Governor of Shabwa Governorate, the security and military services resumed today a joint security campaign consisting of the Shabwa Defense Forces - the Second Brigade, the First Brigade, and the security forces to prevent the carrying of weapons in the city of Ataq, in implementation of the security plan to establish security and stability. And eliminating civilian armed manifestations in the city.

The joint forces confirmed that the campaign is continuing and will not stop until all of its desired goals are completed, and the city of Ataq is restored to its pioneering role in which it was known as a safe city without weapons.

She advised citizens to cooperate with the security services as they are an important part of the security system that requires their cooperation for the success of the campaign, because of their positive role through community awareness, assisting security personnel, and reporting all suspects who walk around with their weapons in the alleys and streets of the city
