Al-Hota Court of First Instance holds its third session in the case of the killing of Sheikh Al-Rashidi and his companions

The Al-Houta Court of First Instance held its third session in the case of the murder of businessman Sheikh Mohsen Saleh Al-Rashidi and his son Ali Mohsen Saleh Al-Rashidi, Mohsen Ali Abdullah Al-Rashidi, and Arif Qasim Al-Ashwal, in the incident that occurred in the October 14 market in the Labous District, on 6/14/2022 AD. .
The third session was held on Monday morning, headed by His Eminence Judge Nazmi Suhaim Abdul Karim, in the presence of the representative of the Public Prosecution, Judge Abdul-Ilah Saleh Mashour, the court secretary, and the presence of the defendants’ lawyers and the blood relatives of the victims.
In the session, the court heard the first, second, third, and fourth witnesses, and they were examined by the court, the Public Prosecution, and lawyers, guardians of the blood of the victims and the accused.
In the session, the Public Prosecution requested that scenes documented by surveillance cameras be shown while the accused was carrying out his crime. Several clips were shown showing the accused carrying out the crime from several different angles.
The judge adjourned the session after deciding the date of the next session next Thursday, May 30, 2024 AD.
Large crowds had gathered outside the court, holding up pictures of the martyrs, and calling on the esteemed court to expedite the litigation sessions and achieve complete justice.
