The Brega Court of First Instance issues a ruling in a case of fraud, recruitment and travel of labor

The Buraiqa Court of First Instance, headed by His Eminence Judge Ali Hassan Abdul Quddus, in the presence of Secretary Sahar Al-Rubaizi and the member of the Buraiqa First Instance Prosecution, His Excellency Judge Ali Al-Mahouri, in the presence of the imprisoned accused and his lawyer, and in the presence of the victims, the legal advisor Lawyer Munif Al-Mehrabi, held its final hearing today, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 AD. By ruling in a case of forgery, fraud, and fraud, in which the accused (R. F. M. A.) took sums of money from the victims, deceiving them that he had a private office to employ workers and that he would send them away and get them visas to travel to the Gulf states, Europe, and other countries.
After His Eminence Judge Ali Hassan Abdel Quddus, the criminal judge in the Buraiqa Court of First Instance, called for the accused, the court’s decision was read to him, which was stated in its text, convicting the accused of the crime attributed to him in the Public Prosecution’s indictment and punishing him for that with imprisonment for a period of two years, effective from the day of his arrest and compulsory. By paying amounts of 174,500 US dollars and 45,000 Saudi riyals, which is equivalent to 32,675,000 Yemeni riyals, to the victim victims, as well as fining the convicted defendant one million riyals for litigation losses.
The member of the Public Prosecution, Judge Ali Al-Mahouri, confirmed that this case, in which the ruling was issued today, exposes some who commit fraud and fraud by opening an office to employ labor and receiving huge sums of money from many young people and those seeking work abroad without obtaining a work permit. Pointing out that the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor had previously published a list containing a list of offices that employ violating labor force.
