The arrival of the first Yemeni pilgrims to Jeddah

The first pioneers of Yemeni pilgrims arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on their way to Mecca to perform the Hajj rituals.
Earlier Tuesday, the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, in the temporary capital, Aden, announced the start of operating pilgrims’ flights from the airport. Sanaa International Airport to the Holy Land, in conjunction with flights from Aden International Airport and Al-Rayyan Airport in Hadramaut.
The Ministry explained in a press statement that the number of flights that arrived from Sanaa International Airport since Tuesday dawn was four flights with 403 pilgrims on board, via the national carrier. Yemen Airways, and the pilgrims’ flights from Aden International Airport, through which the first group of air pilgrims was inaugurated yesterday, to Jeddah Airport, are scheduled to be completed, bringing the number to 8 flights with 950 pilgrims on board, during the coming hours.
She indicated that The number of pilgrims who were transported yesterday from Al-Rayyan International Airport to Jeddah Airport was 137 pilgrims.
