The Supreme Judicial Council stresses functional discipline in Aden’s courts

Today, Thursday, the Supreme Judicial Council held an extraordinary meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by His Eminence Judge Mohsen Yahya Talib, President of the Council.
The meeting, which was attended by the President of the Aden Court of Appeal and the heads of its divisions, was devoted to discussing the progress of work in the Aden Courts based on the report submitted by the Minister of Justice to the Judicial Council in the previous session regarding job discipline for administrative employees in the Aden Courts.
The Council listened to the interventions of the President of the Aden Court of Appeal, Judge Muhammad Al-Junaidi, the Head of the Commercial Appellate Division, Judge Salah Rashid, the Head of the Specialized Criminal Division, Judge Sadiq Abd Rabbo, and the Head of the Public Funds Appellate Division, Judge Khalil Abdul Latif, about the nature of work, obstacles, and the mechanism for improving performance in the courts.
The meeting stressed the obligation of the President of the Aden Court of Appeal, the heads of the appellate divisions, and the heads of the courts of first instance to adhere to the Civil Service Law regarding obliging employees to attend, perform job discipline, and take legal measures against violators, as well as activating the role of judicial inspection with regard to the work of judges and raising the efficiency of performance.
