The campaign to control expired food supplies continues in Mansoura District

The Public Works and Roads Office in the Mansoura District in the capital, Aden, continues the field inspection campaign on expired food supplies and local and imported consumer goods that violate specifications.
The Director of the Public Works Office, Engineer Raafat Rashid Kokni, explained that the campaign - which is implemented by the Office’s Environmental Health Department, comes as a translation of the directives of the Director General of the Directorate, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi - with the aim of protecting the consumer from the harm of those goods and foodstuffs that are unfit for human use and non-conforming. Engineer Kokni confirmed the office’s intention to continue the inspection campaign, which includes all stores and groceries in the directorate, in order to preserve the health of citizens, stressing that deterrent legal measures will be taken against violators.
