The first bank to be subject to sanctions from the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden issued guidance to its clients regarding its work in areas controlled by the legitimate government.
The media officer at Tadhamon Bank published an announcement confirming that the bank’s work is continuing in various branches in the southern regions, without indicating the continuation or cessation of its services in areas under the control of the Houthis.
The announcement indicated that the bank’s services would continue from Saturday to Thursday, in the governorates of Hadramaut, Shabwa, Aden, Abyan, Lahj, and Al-Mahra.
The Central Bank of Aden had recently issued a decision to suspend six banks, including Solidarity Bank, on charges of violating its instructions.
