Taiz police announce the arrest of 13 suspects in an attempt to assassinate a government official

The Ministry of Interior announced that Taiz police arrested 13 people suspected of involvement in a bombing that targeted the convoy of the head of the Military Intelligence Division in the Taiz axis, Brigadier General Abdo Al-Buhairi, and his companions, which led to several injuries.
Taiz police explained that they arrested those suspected of involvement in “the terrorist and sabotage crime that targeted the crew of one of the leaders in the axis as it was passing by, using an explosive device and remote detonation, which resulted in 4 soldiers being injured separately.”
For his part, Defense Minister Mohsen Al-Daari said, through his account on the “X” platform, that he stressed the importance of raising vigilance and dealing firmly with “the terrorist elements and cells of the Houthi group.”
