Al-Zubaidi directs to address international organizations to complete the transfer of their headquarters to the capital, Aden

Aidroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, directed the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to address international organizations, to expedite the completion of the transfer of its headquarters to the capital, Aden, and to open its bank accounts with accredited banks in the capital, Aden.
This came during his meeting in his office in the capital, Aden, on Monday morning, with the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badhib, his deputy, Dr. Nizar Bashaib, and the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, Mansour Zaid Haidara, and Minister Al-Sharmani, where President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need for the ministry to follow up with international governmental and non-governmental organizations. The government approved by our country - which is still exercising its duties from areas controlled by the Houthi militia - procedures for transferring its official headquarters to the capital, Aden.
President Al-Zubaidi expressed his appreciation for the international organizations that hastened to move their official headquarters to the capital, Aden, during the past two months, stressing the readiness of the legitimate authorities to provide all means of support and assistance to the United Nations and international organizations and humanitarian and relief agencies operating in our country, and to provide a safe environment for them, enabling them to implement Its projects and activities in all regions and in various fields and with complete independence.
In turn, the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation expressed his thanks and gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi for his keenness and follow-up of the efforts made by his ministry to provide a safe and stable environment for UN and international organizations working in our country and supervising their humanitarian interventions implemented in all governorates.
Badhib stressed the Ministry of Planning’s keenness to overcome all the difficulties facing international organizations in moving their headquarters to the capital, Aden, and opening bank accounts for them in banks approved by the Central Bank in the capital, Aden.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, Head of the Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Authority of the Transitional Council, and Imad Muhammad, Director of the Office of the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
