The districts of Al-Houta and Taban are witnessing a power outage for the fourth day in a row, in light of the high summer temperatures and the deterioration of living services, which has doubled the suffering of citizens.

Citizens were surprised by the state of indifference with which the Director of Lahj Electricity and his deputy dealt with the catastrophic situation that the governorate is experiencing. At a time when Aden and Abyan Electricity officials are moving and making concrete efforts, Lahj Governorate officials are required to remain silent or turn off their phones, which contributes to the faltering of any efforts being made. To restore the status quo. 

Citizens demanded an end to this tragedy and the rapid and urgent intervention of the state leadership, which is absent from providing the basic and necessary needs, most notably electricity, water and other necessary services, by providing diesel to the Abbas and Bir Nasser generating stations, with patience and restarting them.
