The Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, made a phone call to the Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, Major General Muhammad Ali Yasser, to learn the details of the unfortunate incident that claimed the life of an entire family in Al-Ghaydah District. 

The Minister of Defense expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Governor of Al-Mahra and the two tribes of Keda and Raafait for this great loss and painful accident, asking God Almighty to cover them with His vast mercy, dwell them in His spacious gardens, and inspire their families with patience and solace.

An explosion occurred in a residential house in the Tuhuma area in Al-Ghaydah District, which led to the collapse of the house and the death of 6 people, while investigations are still ongoing to find out the causes of the explosion.
