Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council and President of the National Assembly, met today, Wednesday, with Dr. Nawal Jawad Salem, Director of the Education Office in the capital, Aden.
Al-Kathiri was briefed by Dr. Nawal Jawad on the conditions of education in the capital, Aden, and the efforts made by the Education Office to maintain the progress of the study process and advance the educational process.
Al-Kathiri also listened to a number of difficulties facing the Education Office, most notably the lack of complete availability of textbooks, the dilapidation of some educational facilities, the legal demands of teachers, and the lack of specialized staff.
Al-Kathiri stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to improve the educational process, stressing the support of the Southern Transitional Council for the efforts of the Education Office to regularize the conduct of school, and its tireless efforts to demand the legitimate rights of teachers and improve their conditions.
Al-Kathiri also confirmed the readiness of the Transitional Council, through its specialized committees and bodies, to contribute to developing solutions and treatments for the challenges facing the educational process, with the relevant authorities.
