This morning, the Public Prosecution implemented four legal retribution sentences against the convicts: 1- Hussein Muhammad Hussein 2- Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Dhaif, for intentionally and aggressively killing the victim / Saleem Salem Obaid. According to the ratification document from the President of the Presidential Council No. (592) dated 2/31/2024 AD

3- Convicted Yousef Fadl Ali Obaid Al-Azibi for killing the victim / Mukhtar Muhammad Qaid, intentionally and aggressively.

According to the ratification document from the President of the Presidential Council No. (609) dated 2/31/2024 AD

4- Convicted Salah Badr Al-Hawshabi for killing the victim/Ali Abd al-Rahman Abu Bakr al-Hadi. In accordance with the ratification document from the President of the Presidential Council No. (601) dated 2/31/2024 AD, he was shot to death in the courtyard of the central prison in Lahj Governorate.

The death penalty sentence was carried out after attempts to persuade and encourage the blood relatives of all the victims to forgive and pardon, and after their refusal to do so and the reading of the sentences and the implementation document.

And the Deputy Prosecutor of Yahr, Judge Abd al-Rab al-Sanabi, and in the presence of the Director of the Central Prison Correctional Facility, Captain Abd al-Salam al-Junaidi, to implement the rulings issued by the courts of first instance and approved by the Supreme Court of the Criminal District, which ruled to punish the previously mentioned convicts, both within the jurisdiction of the primary prosecution, with death penalty by firing squad. Until death, and approved by His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the Attorney General, including the implementation procedures.

For his part, the Chief Prosecutor of Lahj Appeals, Judge Bin Jahzer, stated that these rulings and their implementation came after the fruit of the efforts made by His Excellency the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa Ali, in his keenness to speed up the procedures with approval before His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, which fulfilled the blood guardians’ right to legal retribution from the convict. In compliance with the Almighty’s saying: (And for you there is life in retaliation, O you of understanding, that you may become righteous).

The execution was attended by a member of the Lahj Appeals Prosecution, Judge Faris Ismail, the Chief Registrar of the Lahj Appeals Prosecution, Munir Yahya Mohsen, the Chief Registrar of the Al-Hannai Prosecution in the Yahr Prosecution, Saleh Al-Marfadi, the Chief Registrar of the Al-Hawta Prosecution, Wathiq Mahmoud Karsh, the Emergency Commander of Lahj Governorate Security, the Commander of the Rescue Police, and a large number of security men, sheikhs, and notables.
